Head of Software Engineering

As the Head of Software Engineering, your responsibility is to build and scale the systems that power ALFC’s Income Sharing Agreements. Technology is a core part of ALFC’s ability to provide affordable financing to millions of students across the African continent. You will play a key role in defining our technology strategy and working with business stakeholders to make ALFC’s vision come to life.  Initially, this will mean managing outsourced providers while building an in-house engineering capability over-time when it makes sense to do so.

Head of Customer Relations

A critical area to drive the success of ALFC is our engagement with our clients across the entire lifecycle of the ISA.  From onboarding & application, through their time in the program and beyond until they have completed their contribution period. As Head of Customer Relations, you will be responsible for managing a team which is the voice and face of ALFC to our customers. You will drive our marketing & communications, manage the application process across locations, support our customers during their programs and ensure they are successful in paying their ongoing contributions. You will manage the entire 15-year relationship that we have with our customers. To build this connection, you will lead a team of recent graduates across campuses and need to be an enthusiastic, high-energy culture carrier with a strong belief in the mission of ALFC.

Product Lead

It is critical for ALFC to have strong platforms to enable our clients.  Our success hinges on having a simple, smooth & efficient client experience throughout the client lifecycle. As Product Lead at ALFC, you will take the lead on identifying, communicating and prioritizing ALFC’s clients’ needs and build an actionable plan that can be executed by our development teams. You will be the ultimate integrator, working with stakeholders inside and outside ALFC, translating numerous complicated requirements into a clear, concise, prioritized product vision and roadmap.  You will be a champion of client needs with a client-first mindset that understands the needs of ALFC’s diverse client base across all stages of the client journey, programs and geographies.
